Dessert Lab AI Image Generation Program

The Challenge

Crumbl's internal menu testing team needed to visualize new, never-before-seen product concepts before committing to expensive photoshoots. Scheduling professional photography for every test concept created bottlenecks in the innovation pipeline. The team needed a way to generate high-quality, brand-accurate imagery for products that didn't yet exist to go live in the Crumbl app’s new Dessert Lab page.

My Solution

  • Trained Dessert Lab team on AI image generation tools and techniques

  • Collaborated directly with VP of Branding and photography team to establish quality standards and brand consistency guidelines

  • Developed custom prompt engineering frameworks to match Crumbl's distinctive photography style

  • Acted as the quality-liaison ensuring AI-generated images met brand standards

  • Provided hands-on support when teams faced tight deadlines

The Moment That Mattered

When the Dessert Lab team faced a critical deadline with multiple new flavor concepts still needing imagery, I stepped in to help them across the finish line. Generated 7 new flavor images in 2 hours—work that would have required days of scheduling, shooting, and editing. The team hit their deadline, and leadership saw the tangible value of AI integration in action.

Soda Variation Visualization System

The Challenge

Crumbl launched a "dirty soda" product line with multiple flavor combinations, syrups, and customization options. Marketing needed to visualize every possible combination for internal planning, menu design, and channel-specific campaigns—a task that would have required weeks of photoshoots and manual editing for 1,000+ unique variations.

My Solution

  • Used custom AI analysis tool to compile and analyze the most suitable strategic approach

  • Developed automated image generation pipeline to map all possible flavor and syrup combinations, integrated directly into Crumbl's internal corporate website

  • Created local AI-powered refinement systems to ensure brand consistency across variations

  • Implemented hybrid workflow combining AI generation with industry-standard creative tools (Photoshop, etc.) for final polish

  • Designed corporate portal integration allowing non-technical teams to access and utilize variations

  • Over 1,000 product variations generated through the system
